We are on the path to uncovering The Psychology of Sales Leadership. We’re investigating the mind and the behavior that come with successful sales leadership. It’s only natural that we start with how we think and learn.
Mirror Neurons
In this episode, Span the Chasm President Steve Keck taps into our brains. We’re wired to learn, and that is driven by our mirror neurons. We like to copy and imitate others who teach us. However, our learning isn’t limited to process and emulation. Feelings and emotions also imprint on our learning.
Emotional Contagion
We recently talked about how our personal cultures are integral to our sales process. Our emotions also come through in our sales process. How we interact with the team and prospects. How we handle the process. Everything we do is laden with the emotions we are feeling. And the mirror neurons we talked about are ready to mimic these emotions as well.
