As we discussed, both approaches share a common goal. The differences lie in how they go about getting the end result. Sheepdogs are constantly moving, corraling individuals who try to stray from the common goal. A shepherd trains the group to follow their voice. So when someone begins to stray, the shepherd can leave the group and go after that individual to help bring them back to the fold. The rest trust in the leadership and continue in the process.
