The left brain is building logic and process into sales. The right brain is building creativity in sales. Which side of the brain is most successful?
Lead with the Left
Inherently, the left brain guides sales processes. Following procedures. Reciting scripts. Quantitative, analytical, and ruled by logic. However, the top leaders in sales know that relationships are organic. And thus some of the left brain approaches won’t always work. You can’t always apply the same process. A procedure that has worked for one client may need to be finessed for another. A new client forces you to change the script on your pitch. When this happens, the right way is with the right brain!
Free Your Mind
Your right brain is responsible for intuition and free-thinking. Building creativity begins with focusing on the qualitative. Brainstorming ideas that fix a flaw in a procedure. Established processes work even better when they’re augmented with new perspectives and creative adjustments. Seasoned scripts flipped on their side may deliver your solution to the client in a new way.
