This is where we help others understand how valuable this asset is. How were they effective? Show that off. Celebrate their efforts. They are a team player. It’s not just about the sale they helped orchestrate for you.

The goal is to help the champion retain influence. Keep them in the loop as you onboard your solution. This will help them leverage their influence beyond the sale. And you’ll find, as Steve points out, it can have lasting effects for both your champion and you.
