KPIs. Reaching your goals. These are things you think about when you are thinking about your success. When considering these and trying to make space for others, you need to also think about acting with intention.
Acting with Intention
Some believe that salespeople are often the most self-interested people within a company. The best way to prove this is NOT the case is to create space for others. An easy way to do this is when it comes to closing. Pause. Step back and take a broader view of what this sale looks like. And then think of how you could include others in the solution and who to include. Taking this extra step is acting with intention.
So put the practice to work. Reflect on how you can make space for others in your next deal. And most importantly, follow through!
And if you are struggling with any of our ways to make space for others, reach out and make space for Span the Chasm. We’ll help you and your team reach sustainable sales success!
